Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.101 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Open Network panel and go to https://example.com . Reload page and compare the new waterfall with the previous one. What is the expected behavior? Both waterfalls should show the cost of DNS lookup and SSL negotiation. What went wrong? DNS lookup cost and SSL negotiation are shown only on the first load. There is no easy way to see that information again after reloading the page. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 60.0.3112.101 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.12.6 Flash Version: When 'Disable cache' is enabled in Network panel I expect to get the experience of a first-time user. ATM it's impossible since SSL handshakes and DNS lookups are "cached". We discovered the 0.5s cost of connecting to one of our main stylesheets only after testing the website in https://www.webpagetest.org/ . Testing locally never revealed that issue.

I believe this is even worse now. With PlzNavigate we dont have any timing details of the navigation request before the commit of the first html response bytes. |
