chrome crashes when opening "save as" prompt

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.101 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open chrome and try to "save image as..." 2. Windows save as prompt tries to open but freezes right away (the prompt window doesn't always show up but usually does) 3. having to shut down chrome processes in task manager What is the expected behavior? sometimes after a PC reboot, it will not crash for a short period of time but always ends up doing it again. Same thing with Chrome Canary. What went wrong? I tried to "save picture as..." on the Google logo and it froze like that. Nothing ever happens if I don't shut down the processes in task manager. Crashed report ID: How much crashed? Just one tab Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? Yes not sure Chrome version: 60.0.3112.101 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0 I tried to change user profile, uninstalled Chrome, reinstalled Chrome, tried Chrome Canary... Also, Google Chrome doesn't show up in my uninstall list, I have to manually uninstall it with Revo uninstaller.

Tested the issue using #60.0.3112.113 on Win 10 and was unable to reproduce the issue. No Crash or freezing behavior is observed on opening save image as Dialog. @yunakitten13: Could you please find the attached screen cast and try upgrading your Chrome to the latest version and check if you still face the issue. If so please add a Crash server I'd by navigating chrome://crashes. Thanks!!

Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 10 using latest Stable version #61.0.3163.100 and on canary #63.0.3236.0. Followed below steps: 1)Opened chrome and tried to "save image as..." -> able to save Image 2)No Crash or freezing behavior is observed on opening save image as Dialog. Due to lack of user feedback closing this issue. Please feel free to raise a new issue if you face any issue on chrome further. Thanks..!! |
