Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.101 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: The search box on the New Tab page needs to be updated to match the google.com search box What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? please see attached screenshot comparing the two. On top is thew current New Tab page search box, and the bottom is google.com Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 60.0.3112.101 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: I think this counts as part of Material Design makeover?

Great timing, exactly this change is in fact coming with Chrome 61! Chrome 61 Stable should be released in a few weeks; if you want to try it out today, you can install Chrome Beta.

You're right, the change I mentioned for M61 is only on desktop (including ChromeOS). On Android and iOS, bigger changes are coming around the NTP, but those didn't make it for 61. |
