Steps to reproduce the problem:
Pressing “Attach” in any web application. It is not an specific web application, same thing happens in both G-mail, Kayako etc.
System dialog box opens.
I navigate and choose a file (doesn’t matter if it’s pdf/jpg/png etc)
Pressing “ok” - and dialog box disappears as normal.
Attachment is now attached in whatever application I did it in

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
This window and all its tabs are now frozen. Nothing is reacting - except for “x” - close window. No other windows are affected, just the window where the attachment is added.

Did this work before? Yes 

Chrome version: 60.0.3112.90  Channel: stable
OS Version: Mint 17

Unable to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 14.04 using latest chrome version #60.0.3112.101 and latest chrome version #62.0.3196.0.

Attached a screen cast for reference.

Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue.
------------
1. Opened gmail in chrome browser.
2. Composed mail and attached an image file by uploading from desktop.
3. Did not observe any window or tabs getting freezed and the image got uploaded without any issues.

Reporter@ - Could you please check the screen cast and please let us know if anything missed from our side. Also please check the issue using latest chrome stable #60.0.3112.113 and please let us know if the issue still persist or not.

Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
Unable to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 14.04 using latest stable #61.0.3163.100 and there is no response from the reporter for more than one month.
Hence, closing the issue as wontFix.
Please feel free to raise a new issue if the issue is reproduced with latest chrome builds.
