Regression: The smooth Toolbar hiding animation is missing in Full Screen Mode, when the Menubar is already hidden. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: Canary 62.0.3194.0 OS: macOS 10.12.6 What steps will reproduce the problem? (0) Select the Bright Menu/Dock in the OS Settings. (In tomorrows Canary you can also use the Dark Menu/Dock) (1) Go into Full Screen. (2) Uncheck "Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen". (3) Move the mouse-cursor to the top of the screen, so that Menubar and the Toolbar appear. (4) Move the mouse-cursor so far down, that only the Menubar disappears. (5) Now move the mouse-cursor further down, so that the rest of the Toolbar disappears. What is the expected result? The rest of the Toolbar should disappear with a smooth animation. What happens instead? The rest of the Toolbar disappears very quickly without a smooth animation. Please find attached 2 screencasts comparing the behavior. Please let me know, if you need more information. Thanks!

Hey sdy@: Just for your info: I did a bisect and I found out that https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/#/c/chromium/src/+/581859/ is also the cause for this issue. May be this helps you. Thank you.

Thanks for checking, mehmet@! spqchan@: It seems like the right behavior would actually be to keep the menubar visible until the toolbar hides… thoughts?

That's right, the menubar should be kept visible until then. Unfortunately, no one have figured out how to do that yet.

This is also fixed/no longer a bug since you fixed issue 762160 . Merging into it :-) |
