Views with parameters are not linkable

Project Member Reported by amineer@chromium.org, Aug 21 2017

Issue description

Most of our views are unlinkable - e.g. if you're searching for another user's commits, results of the query are simply embedded in the page - one cannot copy the URL, and send it to another user, and have them see the exact same view. We suffer the same problem with any page with a platform dropdown selector.

We should update all pages to be linkable, which likely means piping all input parameters into the URL path.

Also, the "Components" page resets the URL back to /components even when hard linking from a defined view (e.g. /components/Blink) due to the fact that we're not embedding project in the URL which means we can't reason about which project we're looking for.

I believe that all the relevant views have been modified now to support parameter-in-URL.

Prasad: Do you think there is anything else before we can close this out?
Status: Fixed (was: Started)
This can be closed now, as all the views are now linkable.
