Unable to reproduce this on Nexus 5X, Chrome dev (62.0.3185.0). Perhaps an issue with Galaxy S8?

Tested https://jsfiddle.net/jib1/9t3szw0L/ on two Samsung Galaxy S8 units, both of them with Chrome 59.0.3071.125, Beta 61.0.3163.51, Dev 62.0.3185.0 and Canary 62.0.3192.0. It worked fine in all cases. Android version was 7.0. Closing, since this is working as intended. The failures in the report could be specific to a single faulty device. jody@: please reopen if you find a reliable way to reproduce. |
