Shortcut behavior is expected, devtools overrides the shortcut. Not sure what you mean by "I can't able to do display: none; check ."

I am using some media queries for responsive website. I have gone through checking the website responsiveness on chrome Inspect ( Toggle device toolbar ). The selected device width may not responding to the media queries else the media queries or the properties in the queries are not getting executed. Simply, the way responsiveness that works well while changing the browser window size, responsiveness is not perfectly working on inspect.

Ok, thank you for the details. Any chance you could provide a simple reduced example with the MQ that you expect to be triggered that are not?
