CTRL++++++ does not repeat when zooming images

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.78 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. $ chromium some.jpg
2. CTRL+++++++++++

What is the expected behavior?
Can just hold down CTRL+++++++++++ and the image will keep zooming.

What went wrong?
Must instead do CTRL++ CTRL++ CTRL++ CTRL++ CTRL++ CTRL++ CTRL++ .

Did this work before? Yes I recall it used to work.

Chrome version: 60.0.3112.78  Channel: n/a
OS Version: 
Flash Version: 

Very annoying. If I hold down s, I get ssssssssssss.
Why not for CTRL++?

Tested on latest Chrome Stable #61.0.3163.79,  Canary # 63.0.3208.0 on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04 and able to reproduce the issue.

Using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results,
Good build: 55.0.2853.0 (416812)
Bad build: 55.0.2854.2 (417283)

You are probably looking for a change made after 416994 (known good), but no later than 416995 (first known bad).

The script might not always return single CL as suspect as some perf builds might get missing due to failure.
