Touchable launcher: Cannot navigate through query text with left, right arrow keys

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open launcher
2. Type some query
3. Click on right, left arrow keys from keyboard

What is the expected result?
Should be able to navigate through the query text

What happens instead? 
Unable to navigate through the query text. Focus shifts to close button or first item in the suggestions list.
