Black boxes or boxes with random pixels on mouse over on browser tabs with hardware acceleration enabled

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.78 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open two browser tabs with different sites
2. Move cursor over first tab, wait until a yellow box with the site title appears
3. Move cursor over second tab, wait until box with site title appears

What is the expected behavior?
Yellow box with site title should appear

What went wrong?
Black box or box with random pixels appears

Did this work before? Yes Chrome Version 56 did not show this behaviour

OS Version: 
Flash Version: 

The issue only appears with hardware acceleration enabled

Unable to reproduce this issue on Ubuntu 14.04, Windows 7 and Mac OS 10.12.6 using chrome latest Stable 61.0.3163.79 and latest Dev 62.0.3202.18 with the below steps

1. Launched Chrome and navigated to few webpages.
2. Navigated to Chrome://settings and checked if Hardware acceleration is enabled.
2. Move the cursor over the tabs and could observe that the tab title is show without any issues.

Attaching the screen-shot for reference.

Could you retry the same scenario on clean profile without any flags/extensions and update the thread if you see any issues.
