[Feedback prestable] Chrome not rendering hindi

Chrome Version: 60.0.3112.90 and 61
OS: Windows

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Change Chrome language to Hindi in Chrome
(2) Visit google.co.in and search something.

What is the expected result?
Hindi characters are displayed in Chrome

What happens instead?
Please see attached screenshots

So far I didnt find a common extension installed that might change font behavior.

What version of windows would this be? Did it work before?
