Regression: Device orientation doesn't change in 'Sensors' section of devtools.

Issue descriptionVersion: 62.0.3188.0 a6c5719b8b51fe9ac7af8af1ce8318a83b70b486-refs/heads/master@{#495023} OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.11.6,10.12.3) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome, navigate to NTP and open devtools. 2. Now press 'Esc' key to open 'Console Drawer' and click on 'More actions' iron icon and open 'Sensors' 3. Now click on 'Orientation' select 'Custom orientation' and click and hold on up arrow of 'Gamma' and release it and again do the same,observe Actual: Device orientation doesn't change after clicking and holding of mouse pointer on up/down arrow of Alpha/Beta/Gamma. Expected: Device orientation should change after clicking and holding of mouse pointer on up/down arrow of Alpha/Beta/Gamma. Note: Device orientation changes for the first instance as mentioned in step 3. This is regression issue, broken in ‘M 58’ and will soon update other info : Good build:58.0.2994.0 Bad build: 58.0.2995.0

Thanks for the report. This might look strange, but is working as intended. The browser doesn't register the successive clicks as having changed the input until the mouse is moved. This happened after https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/65954e8e284b23dcaccc6fa07246d31df3a1255a and can be reproduced similarly with this small example https://jsfiddle.net/e7zpu47m/1/ |
