Regression: Voice search icon is seen missing in new app launcher

Chrome Version: 62.0.3187.0/9850.0.0 dev-channel Kip,Daisy,Minnie,Peppy
OS: Chrome OS

Pre-condition: Enable 'App Launcher sync' flag in chrome://flags

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Sign in to chrome or Browse as guest >> Open App launcher and Observe for start voice search icon in search field.

Expected: Voice search icon should be seen in search field of new app launcher.
Actual: Instead,Voice search icon is seen missing.

This is regression issue as voice search icon is seen in 61.0.3160.0/9761.0.0. dev channel Kip.

Zach, do you know if this is an expected UI change for voice search? And if not whom might be able to dig into this?

We are coming up on beta for 62 and this is marked as a blocker so we need it resolved in the next few days to promote.
