Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Use an Android device to open Chrome. 2. Open the attached bug.html. 3. See the attached bug.png. What is the expected behavior? border-top should be visible on the yellow div. What went wrong? No border-top on the yellow div. Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 59.0.3071.125 Channel: stable OS Version: 5.0.1 Flash Version: I can reproduce this with an hTC Nexus tablet (model: OP82100) and a Sony Xperia Z3+ (model: E6553). But I failed to reproduce with Asus Zenfone Max (model: Z010DD). The file bug.html is the minimal webpage that I can come up with. Removing any of the non-background css attribute makes the issue disappear. The most interesting part of this issue is the line-height of .text. If I set it to 31px or 33px instead of 32px, the border-top will appear. Furthermore, 64px and 128px make the border-top disappear.

I can't see the screen shot in the link since I don't have a google.com account. Can you paste it somewhere else? Thanks.

Tested the issue on ASUS_Z00AD Build/LRX21v with Android 5.0.0 on Latest Stable@ 60.0.3112.107 and was able to reproduce the issue. Please find the screen shot here. go/chrome-androidlogs/756345 Note: This issue is not seen with Android 4.0 and 6.0 versions. This issue is also reproducible in M56# 56.0.2924.0 also. Changing the status to Untriaged, so that the issue would get addressed. Thank You.

I don't think this is an android specific bug, just that the devices happen to have screen sizes and DPI that cause the issue to appear. On linux the border disappears at 90% zoom level and then at 50%. I'm guessing this is an issue with subpixel snapping at various resolutions. It's going to be hard to fix.
