Issue description

Chrome Version : 60.0.3112.90

Other browsers tested: None

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Apply a wavy under via text-decoration on an input field

What is the expected result?
The wavy underline follows the entire text inside the input field

looks like maybe more than just input fields -- you can see this on a <p> here as well: https://jsfiddle.net/wf25zfxg/

Able to reproduce the issue on Windows 7,Mac 10.12.6 & Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version#60.0.3112.101 (stable) & Canary#62.0.3188.0 as per fiddle in comment#0 .

Observed that the wavy underline is not displayed for the entire text.Same issue persists from M57 builds to latest chrome versions. As it is a non regression issue, marking it as 'Untraiged' to get more inputs from dev.

Please find the attached screenshots for reference.

Note:
No wavy underline is displyed for both fiddles for the earlier builds of M57

Thanks..!!

This is a known issue due to the way we paint wavy strokes. We can only use integral numbers of waves and the size of each is determined by the text size, not length. We can probably do better, so leaving the bug open.
