Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.90 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Navigate to webpage "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7" (it is an invalid youtube video link) 2. Open developer tools, switch to console 3. In search bar type "Viktor Crazy" 4. Press enter 5. Click the first result (channel) 6. Observe that an error is thrown (you can see it in the console) What is the expected behavior? No error should be thrown. What went wrong? The error "Uncaught TypeError: a.Hs is not a function" (base.js:6027) is thrown 4 times and the error "Uncaught TypeError: a.Tl is not a function" (base.js:3492) is thrown 2 times. Why am I reporting this? Becuase I think that the problem is very related to chrome. I didn't see the error in Firefox, or other browsers, just in chrome. Also, throwing an error without any special reason makes no sense. I though that maybe my adblock extensions causes the error. I disabled all my extensions, cleared browser cache and cookies, and the error is still there. I've tried to analyze the script to find out why the error is thrown, and after spending more than two hours I still have no clue. So, that is why I am reporting it, because it seems like a chrome issue (or maybe even v8 issue). Again, I don't see the error in other browsers. Why is the error thrown at that particular channel? What about other channels? - I tried other channels and the error is not thrown. Maybe there are some more channels which cause the error too, but I didn't find them. Also, notice that none of the "steps on how to reproduce the problem" can be ignored. I tried directly navigating to that channel (without firstly visiting invalid yt url), but the error is not throw in that case. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 60.0.3112.90 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: The flash has nothing to do with this issue

It seems this is a YouTube bug. FWIW, I can repro this in Firefox, I see TypeErrors popup in the same way. Given that it's not a bug in Chrome I'm going to close this. Thanks for the report. |
