What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Add a new account 
(2) Click on a few different avatars to view them larger and see the animations


What is the expected result?
Every time that I click an avatar I see it animating in the "preview". 

What happens instead?
I haven't been able to find a pattern here but something like the last two avatars that were viewed will not animate. Viewing a few different ones and going back to one that didn't animate usually solves the problem.

I can't reproduce this when choosing a new avatar in settings.
