'?Undefined' text is appended along with email id in 'Username' text box in Google hanouts extension

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.90 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Chrome Browser having Google Hangouts extension
2. Hover on Google Hangouts extension
3. Note that previously signed in username is shown
4. Now click on Google Hangouts extension
5. Note that Hangouts got opened with 'Sign in' button is shown
6. Click on 'Sign in' button
7. Note that Username is autofilled
8. Observe that '?Undefined' text is appended along with email id

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
Undefined text is also autofilled with email id in Username field

I think this is not related to the password manager or autofill because the text field would be yellow if anything was autofilled. Maybe jawag@ can establish a channel to the extension owner.

Tested the issue on windows 7 using chrome latest stable M60 #60.0.3112.101 and canary M62 #62.0.3187.0 and issue is not reproduced with the given steps in comment #0.

Attached screencast for reference.

@vedavathi1994-- Could you please check attached screencast and confirm us if we have missed any steps in reproducing the issue and please try in latest stable with fresh profile and update us with your observations.

I haven't logged out specifically from Google Hangouts. i Just cleared history from chrome and then clicked on 'Google Hangouts' icon.

As per screen-cast provided in comment #6, able to reproduce the issue on Windows 10, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.12.6 with chrome stable #60.0.3112.101, canary #62.0.3192.0 and also in earlier version M53-53.0.2785.0. This a non-regression issue hence marking it as untriaged.

Note: hangout extension is available only from M-53
Steps followed:
1. Launch chrome
2. Install hangout application
3. Log into chrome browser
4. Launch hangout application
5. Close hangout and logout from chrome browser
6. Clear history from chrome browser.
7. Click on hangouts icon and then click on sign-in

Observed "?Undefined" text is appended in the username field.

Agreed with #3, this is unlikely Chrome's password manager. To verify, please try to reproduce with password manager disabled (go to chrome://settings/passwords, switch saving off and delete existing credentials).
