Could you please provide crash ID's from chrome://crashes instead of crash dumps for further investigation. Thanks!

@rufat.agayev -- Thanks for providing the Crash ID's, we observed that it is due to the large file size crash has occurred. Could you please let us know the file size used when crashes are observed and kindly provide the GPU of your machine. You can also try by updating your chrome to the latest stable #60.3112.101 and by removing the extensions and creating a new profile to verify if the issue still persists. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for coming back. I reinstalled a fresh copy of Chrome, but the issue still persists, even after resetting the profile and uninstalling all extensions. I had observed this same issue before but it was reported fixed after an update (see issue 666851 in chromium). I don't quite understand what you mean by file size, but if it is related to uploading to Google Photos - I have been uploading video files with sizes of 300-500 MB, there was one file with the size of 970MB. My GPU is NVIDIA Geforce 840M with 2GB memory. As I said before, Chrome is basically unusable now. It just disappears as soon as I launch it and try to access any website.

Closing the issue as WontFix due to lack of response from the reporter for more than 1 month. Please feel free to raise a new issue if the issue is reproducible with latest chrome builds. Thanks...!! |
