This is a newly bought chromebook but after a while of using it, google chrome freezes and crashes telling me there is something wrong with either my chrome's memory or something else. Then I cant do anything on it then I need to refresh it everytime. Its so fucking frustating!!

Reported by c.quinzo...@gmail.com, Aug 12 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS armv7l 9460.73.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.134 Safari/537.36
Platform: 9460.73.0 (Official Build) stable-channel veyron_minnie

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. What I do as per the systems advise, I clear some browsing data
2. Then I reset it but its still the same
3. Then I already power washed it 2 times now but nothing happens, its freaking getting worse

What is the expected behavior?
Of course I expect this laptop to work as it should be but its not. I expect this to be resolved asap. Take note this is newly bought so a replacement is most welcome too. Please update my version too!

What went wrong?
A lot. It keeps freezing, chrome crashes all the time then lastly, when I use the touch screen, it suddenly zooms and unzoom. It's really disappointing and really upsetting.I am so stressed right now because I use this for work too!

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 59.0.3071.134 Channel: stable
OS Version: 9460.73.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0

Please upgrade my version too. I want this fixed asap. Thanks.

Hey there, this is our bug tracker and your issue sounds more specific to your device: You may want to reach out to Asus to get a replacement for the device though. You can reach out to support from this page:

https://support.google.com/chromebook/?hl=en#topic=3399709

Also adding igo@ just to make sure the memory issue is not pervasive.
