Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.90 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://web.archive.org/web/20140608072154/http://www.html5rocks.com:80/en/tutorials/forms/html5forms/input-types.html Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open example URL 2. Enter name, don't enter an email address 3. Let auto-fill provide a mobile phone number What is the expected behavior? Intuitively, I would expect Chromium to recognise that I don't want to enter an email address, and leave the field blank. Only fields below the active one should be modified. What went wrong? Chromium enters the user's stored email address into a field above the one I am currently interacting with. On another webpage, this could be a field that is already scrolled out of view, thereby submitting the the user's email address without their knowledge. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? No Probably not just a Chromium issue, but I suppose that's irrelevant here Chrome version: 60.0.3112.90 Channel: stable OS Version: 17.04 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0
