position: sticky; - typing in an input element scrolls to the unstuck document position

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.90 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Scroll to the bottom of the page 2. Type in a position: sticky; input element What is the expected behavior? The page does not scroll. What went wrong? The page scrolls to the element's unstuck position when typing. This does not happen in other browsers that support position: sticky;. Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 60.0.3112.90 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0

Thanks for reporting the bug. Re #1: Yes. It has been fixed with issue 740417 and landed in 62.0.3166.0.

Ah, thank you! I searched for existing issues, but that one didn't come up. I didn't think to switch from "Open issues" (the default) to "All issues". |
