Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: Let me know, please, if this is the wrong place to discuss this suggestion. I frequently run into the problem that I am prompted with libnotify notifications (the default notification system on Linux) during a Hangouts meeting. This is especially annoying when presenting your screen. It can also pose a security concern if you are revealing sensitive information through that notification. I suggest a feature for either the browser or Hangouts to provide a setting that suppresses notifications while Hangouts is running. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? What are your thoughts? Would you be willing to consider it? Thanks! WebStore page: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-hangouts/nckgahadagoaajjgafhacjanaoiihapd Did this work before? No Chrome version: 60 Channel: dev OS Version: Ubuntu MATE 17.10 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0

This is a hangouts issue, not an extensions issue. |
