Issue description- Reset theme is translated as "Reset zoom" [1] - The strings for the toggle to enable/disable Flash seems confusing (though this could be related to the toggle itself) [1] https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=752763#c5

Hi all, The English source text is as follows. Source text:Reset to default zoom level Description: The accessible description of the Reset button in the Zoom bubble.

On my machine, the English text appears as "Reset to default", not "Reset to default zoom level". Not sure why we're trying to use the zoom level string in French, since this is about Themes To see the string, go to Settings > Appearance > Themes and install a theme. The row will update to add a "Reset to default" button.

same as enable/disable flash; same problem with window popup; when open setting it's say Block(recommanded) but cursor is off and it's to say 'it's blocked'. (You now need a user manual to understand the operation!)

For Blocked (recommended), here is the source text and the description. Source text:Blocked (recommended) Description:Summary text explaining that a permission is blocked, which is the recommended setting. Any concern on the translation? Thanks.

- The strings for the toggle to enable/disable Flash seems confusing (though this could be related to the toggle itself) and same with windows popup, and option with text change after change status. For this option (flash,popup...) when switch to enable the result is the opposite of what is written. and when disable it's also the opposite. But I not know the goal. For me it must not change and stay the same as when option is 'enabled'.

The translation is good, perhaps Anglophones may be very good in conjugation. In French: activer (action) et activé (status) (or activée) From the beginning of computing, activate an option = perform the action defined in front. Here we have a status with a button; It is necessary to activate the button to know the second option... and see 'é' not 'er' perhaps add before 'actuellement' to say it's the actual status The google translations in French are generally very good, I let you discuss to try to remove the possible confusion.

Hi Tom, Comment 9 is the source string question. Are you able to route the query to the Eng team? If the string is updated, we will be able to re-translate it in the next scheduled extraction. Thanks. |
