ASIX: TX packets count 0 after TXing lots of data

Issue description

Observed in  crbug.com/753120 
    TX packets 0  bytes 8898338802 (8.2 GiB)

This isn't right. :(

Adding kyan in case this is related to changes for gale/jetstream. I don't think it is though. This seems more likely a bug in asix driver.
