Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.90 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://jsbin.com/judeqadata/edit?html,output Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the affected page on Mac on an external screen (Observed on MacBook Pro Retina 13" Early 2015 with Dell U3415W) 2. Observe lines L02, L07, L12, L17, L22, L27… What is the expected behavior? Quote marks render sharp and clear What went wrong? Blurry quote marks every 5 lines Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 60.0.3112.90 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0 The behavior does not occur when the window is on Macbook Retina Screen, only occurs on external screen. Compare example.png w/ example-retina-screen.png. The behavior is somewhat mitigated using Mac 3-finger zoom feature (different than Chromium zoom). Compare example.png w/ example-w-zoom.png and example-w-zoom-2.png. This behavior was originally noticed in Review Board, a popular code review tool. I've used JSBin to isolate test-case. My test case is rather specific to assist w/ reproduction, though I believe this generalizes to an issue handling subpixel rendering. I believe this because I was able to take a screenshot. If it were a display issue, then it would not appear in the screenshot.
