Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.78 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Log into a website with a browser authentication password (such as .htaccess) 2. The password icon shows with the popup "Do you want Google Chrome to save your password for this site?" with the options "Never or "Save" 3. Instead of clicking on either button, click on the webpage - the popup closes 4. You are unable to click on any links or buttons in the website. Opening the dev tools shows no errors. Only after you click once on a chrome extension icon or the password icon again can you interact with the website. What is the expected behavior? Clicking off the popup should close it but act as a "not now" button and you should be able to interact with the website and have it pop up to remember again the next time you visit the site. "Not now" would be nice because sometimes I don't want to either save the password or put it on a blacklist for saved passwords What went wrong? After clicking off the popup I can't interact with the website Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 60.0.3112.78 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0

elly: Has that particular dialog migrated over to MacViews? If so, could this be related to MacViews?

It has not. It's possible that the code we added to make it possible to use MacViews for it could have broken, though.

I tried disabling all of my extensions and now I can't reproduce it, so I guess it was an extension bug, sorry. Thanks for checking
