Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.90 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Install DRM Info app from Google Play Store on Acer Chromebook R13 in Beta Channel 2. Check the Widevine Security Level (it shows L3) 3. Widevine apps, such as Netflix, do not display L1 content (for Netflix, it will not show video on HD resolution). This was verified using the "Test Patterns" video available on Netflix. What is the expected behavior? Chrome OS on the Acer Chromebook R13 supports Widevine L1 on the current beta channel. If you navigate to Netflix.com, appropriate videos will play in 1080p HD. Amazon Instant Video and YouTube will also play protected content in 1080p if available. What went wrong? While trying to play the Test Patterns video from Netflix on the Netflix Android app, it would only support a maximum resolution of 720x480 at a bit rate of 1750kbps. When testing the same video on Netflix.com in Chrome OS, it would achieve a resolution of 1920x1080. WebStore page: Netflix (Android app) and Netflix.com Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 60.0.3112.80 Channel: stable OS Version: 60.0.3112.80 Flash Version: |
