Issue descriptionChrome Version:62.0.3178.0 (Official Build) cdd15784955039742fe9a8235581922d41b82d78-refs/heads/master@{#492239}(32/64 bit). OS: Windows (7,8,10), Mac (10.11.6, 10.12.3,10.12.5),Linux (14.04 LTS). Steps to reproduce: 1.Launch chrome, navigate to NTP and open devtools. 2.Now go to 'Performance' section and click on recording button. 3.Now enter text in chrome search box ,stop recording and observe. Actual Result: Twice readings appears on performance section of devtools. Expected Result:Twice readings should not appear on performance section of devtools. This is regression issue broken in 'M-62' and will soon update the bisect info: Manual Bisect Info: Good build:62.0.3176.0 Bad build: 62.0.3177.0

W.R.T comment #2 Retested the above issue on latest Canary #62.0.3193.0 on Windows(7,8,10), Mac(10.11.6, 0.12.3,10.12.5), Linux(14.04 LTS). Issue is still reproducible.

@pranjali.mahabdi -- Tested on latest Canary #62.0.3198.0 on Windows 7, Mac 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04 and issue seems to be fixed. Attached the screenshot for reference. Could you please check and confirm. Thanks.

Re-tested this issue on Windows 7, Mac OS 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04 using the latest canary 63.0.3209.0 and can confirm that the fix is working as intended and no issue is observed. Hence adding 'TE-Verified' label. Thanks.
