Smartlock (bluetooth) non-functional

Reported by andrewbr...@gmail.com, Aug 6 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 9765.16.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.30 Safari/537.36
Platform: Google_Edgar.7287.167.71

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Attempt to set this feature up on oneplus 3
2. Phone is never found
3.

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
This used to work in beta channel. Searching for phone no longer works, nothing is found.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 61.0.3163.30 Channel: dev
OS Version: 9765.16.0
Flash Version:

I can confirm this.
I was using SmartLock on my Chromebook and phone for a while now. Everything worked perfectly until the latest ChromeOS Beta update.
After the update I got a message on my Chromebook that my SmartLock trusted phone had changed (no Android update happened) and that I need to turn it off and set it up again.
Now the Set Up would not recognize my phone, although BT can pair it. And my phone can no longer designate my Chomebook as a SmartLock trusted device (this was not set when the update occurred, but it worked before).
sorry, forgot to add these (the new update information):
Google Chrome	61.0.3163.51 (Official Build) beta (32-bit)
Revision	0
Platform	9765.31.0 (Official Build) beta-channel hana
