Issue descriptionChrome Version:61.0.3163.29 (Official Build) b1e8882790982afc7ba75a4034eb154d9594d01a-refs/branch-heads/3163@{#245}(32/64 bit). OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.11.6,10.12.3). Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch Chrome and navigate to chrome://settings/fonts 2. Set 'Minimum font size' to '8' and zoom out up to 33% 3. Observe 'Minimum font size' and 'Font size' slider line Actual Result: 'Minimum Font size' and 'Font size' slider line disappear on zooming out to 33% Expected Result:'Minimum Font size' and 'Font size' slider line should not disappear on zooming out to 33% This is regression issue broken in 'M-56' and will soon update the bisect info: Manual Bisect Info: Good build: 56.0.2909.0 Bad build: 56.0.2910.0

Seems to be a side-effect of how pixel rendering works (the 2-px line's pixels become half pixels, and is being merged with white-pixels above/under it). Marking as wont-fix, since we're not expecting any users to use the page at 33% zoom-out (at that point the texts would not be readable anyway). Please reopen if this bug appears in an actual use-case. |
