Hi lidasong19890315@, could you please try the newest WebView M59 to see if you could reproduce this issue, M57 is considered outdated now and is not recommend to use anymore.

If it is still reproducing, could you please provide an apk or google play link to XiaoMi Appstore so we can have a further investigation. Also, which type of phone are you using, could you provide phone info as well? (type, build, etc.)

@ctzsm Hi, your suggestion works. I wonder to know what is the reason for the black screen bug, the compatibility of the phone's GPU?

Hi, your suggestion works. I tried M59 & M60, no bug situation. I wonder to know what is the reason for the black screen bug, the compatibility of the phone's GPU?
Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
It is hard to tell actual issue without debugging it, as the bug has been fixed in M59/M60, we will not take effort to investigate it.

lidasong19890315@, I am glad to know the newest version of WebView works for you.

For the root cause of this issue, without knowing log or having the app you mentioned in hand to reproduce the bug, it is hard for us to tell what the issue was. Info such as the way how you use WebView, what type of phone you are testing/developing with (architecture, Android build version, GPU info as you mentioned (screenshot of chrome://gpu from chrome browser)) would be very helpful too.

Since the issue is not reproducing with newest WebView, considering this as obsolete.
