Android 8.0.0 / Google Pixel C / Page reload when bringing chrome back from background.

Device name: Google Pixel C
Application version: Chrome 59.0.3071.125
Operating system: Android 8.0.0, Pixel C Build/OPP4.170623.014

Steps to reproduce:
- Open Chrome
- Open a URL
- Send app to background
- Open app from background

Expected result:
- Webpage should not be reloaded

Actual result:
- Webpage is reloaded

This has a big impact on other projects, like Cordova, that serve single page web apps with chromium as browser. The webapp will always restart when sended to the background.

Issue is not reproducible here with the above steps on Pixel C Build/OPP4.170623.014, 
Works as per expected behavior, Webpage doesn't reload.  Can you clear data chrome and try once again.

Hello kgna,

We received today an extra Pixel C tablet.
I just enrolled the device into the beta programm and installed android O.

This device doesn't seem to be affected to the reported bug. 

I think we can close this report. Will try to reset the other device and reinstall android O.
