Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. http://jsfiddle.net/q4pRK/39/ 2. Click google. Then click stay 3. Repeat 2. But click "prevent this page from creating additional dialogues" along with stay 4. on a tab to the left, right click and select "close tabs to the right" 5. When the popup displays, click "Stay" 6. The tab will close What is the expected behavior? If the user flow of closing the page itself is to be respected, then no dialogue should show at all. However if we want to be safe, the dialogue can show, but when clicking stay, the tab should stay and not close. What went wrong? The tab closed Did this work before? Tested this issue on Windows 10, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.12.6 with chrome #59.0.3071.115 & #60.0.3112.78 Followed the steps mentioned in the comment #0 Observed the tab has closed without any dialogue box. Attaching the screen-cast for reference. lewis.phillips@ Could you look into it and confirm in the expected behavior are you expecting a dialog box after step 4. Thank You....

In M60, after step 4 I don't get the leave/stay dialog - the tab just closes. avi@, do you have any thoughts on correct behavior.

I cannot reproduce this either. In step 4, I too get the tab closing with no dialog. That's the desired behavior: the user said "do not allow this page to show any more beforeunload dialogs", so saying "close tabs to the right" just closes the page.

[mac bug triage] Per c#5 behavior is correct and no response from reporter for over 30 days so closing. |
