Stored passwords are not synced with my local chrome browser on Mac High Sierra

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Opem manage passwords 2. there are no items under stored passwords 3. go online to passwords site - lots of stored passwords there What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Sounds like a mac keychain issue, let me see if I can find a similar but that has resolution steps.

Assuming sync is healthy, the two main culprits both are solved by deleting your passwords database and re-launching chrome, see https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=728037#c14 Reading your #3, it sounds like passwords.google.com has all your passwords, which means that as soon as your passwords db and sync are both healthy, all the passwords should be downloaded. It's also possible that sync is not healthy. If you want to post a screenshot or dump of chrome://sync-internals we can see if anything seems out of the ordinary. While not impossible, this is definitely not my first guess of what's going on here.

I have reinstalled chrome and the problem went away. maybe this is related with Installing new Mac OS version on top of chrome old instalation?

Thanks for the reply. Earlier there might be issue with the profile or any other added extensions.So as issue working as expected, marking it as 'Wontfix'. Please feel free to file chrome issue if you find any. |
