[FR] Integration with Imprivata Healthcare Single Sign On

Project Member Reported by kaned@google.com, Jul 28 2017

Issue description

Environment:
Chrome OS
Citrix
Healthcare

A number of healthcare deals (both UK and US) are blocked because Chrome OS does not integrate with Imprivata Healthcare Single Sign On.

Imprivata Healthcare Single Sign On provides login via badge-tap saving nurses and doctors from having to enter usernames and passwords.
It also provides seamless login (zero click) login to VDI solutions such as Citrix and single click logout.
With Imprivata Healthcare Single Sign On the user can quickly move from one device to another and get straight back into their Citrix desktop.

Is this something that fits with your current work, Maksim?

Yes, enabling badge-based and fingerprint-based sign-in is a part of the "Extended Login for Chrome OS" effort.

Should we drop the CrosExtendedLogin label? As per offline discussion, it has probably nothing to do with the Chrome OS user sign-in.

Removed the label. Discussion is gravitating towards a thin client solution using kiosk or public session, so no OS-level sign-on solution needed.

Sunil, please reassign if appropriate (or mark duplicate ;-)
