Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.86 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Load the pdf at url http://blogs.adobe.com/security/SampleSignedPDFDocument.pdf 2. Only the text "Sample Signed PDF Document" is displayed 3. What is the expected behavior? > Compare with the same pdf in a brower using the Adobe plug-in (i.e. Using Internet Explorer) > A picture of a signature appears. The text "Digitally signed by John B Harris" is visible, as well as other info on the digital signature of the document. The "Signatures" tab can be selected to see more details on the signature. What went wrong? From previous issues on chromium bugs ( Issue 65613 ), seems like a bug in the current version of the chrome. Also attaching the screenshot captured from a signature form webpage. WebStore page: PDF Viewer Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 59.0.3071.86 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0 In the Issue 65613 it was said to be resolved, could you please help me figuring out why it is not working for me even after it is resolved.

Somehow I was unable to reproduce the issue on the latest stable(60.0.3112.78) and the reported version(59.0.3071.86) on both Windows-7 and Windows-10. Adding the respective component for someone from the team help in debugging this further.

I can't reproduce this problem. It loads fine for me on Windows in Chrome 59, 60, and 62. It works for other users too. e.g. https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=65613#c18 What is SignatureForms.docx suppose to be? That looks nothing like http://blogs.adobe.com/security/SampleSignedPDFDocument.pdf.

I am running the installer downloaded from https://enterprise.google.com/chrome/chrome-browser/thankyou.html?platform=win32msi on a vanilla window 7 with no group policies or any security but still not able to see the signatures from http://blogs.adobe.com/security/SampleSignedPDFDocument.pdf The SignatureForms.docx is a online form where there are fields, where in user can used their digital signature. I am able do that in IE browser but not able to do so in chrome. FYI-- I have downloaded the most recent version of enterprise installer of google chrome and still the same. (i.e v60.0.3112.90)

Can you explain what you mean by "still not able to see the signatures" ? In the screenshot, there is a signature. Is there some other component that's missing?

Given the screenshot in Comment #6 shows the signature working correctly, going to close this. If there is something still going wrong please comment on the bug and we can re-open. |
