Browser login fails

Issue description
Chrome Version : Version 62.0.3169.0 (Developer Build) (64-bit)
URLs (if applicable) : -
Other browsers tested: N/A
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
Safari: -
Firefox: -
IE: -
Chrome: OK [Version 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (64-bit)]
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open Chromium Settings
(2) Press "Sign in to Chromium"
(3) Enter Google email and password and press enter
What is the expected result?
Upon successful sign in to browser with google account, the window with login confirmation should appear and sync should turn on.
What happens instead?
After typing my password and pressing "Next", the login window disappears and I am not logged in.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
I am not having problems signing in to the browser with the official build [Version 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (64-bit)]. I have also tried logging out of the official build before attempting to sign in to Chromium, but this does not fix the problem.
