2. Scroll down notification bar.
3. Swipe towards left in the screen.
4. Tap on New Tab or voice search in today's view.
5. Tap on “New search or Incognito search or voice search”

Observed results:
Todays view and chrome quick actions does not works on opening from newtab

Today's view and chrome quick actions should work.
