Delayed WebGL Allocation / Initialization of Textures ?

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Goto www.paintsupreme3d.com 2. Click "CREATE PROJECT" and start painting 3. Sometimes painting now hangs for several seconds during the first painting pass. What is the expected behavior? Painting should be smooth (it was before) What went wrong? Did the last versions of Chrome introduce some delayed allocation or initialization of WebGL framebuffer textures ? Before, all needed textures were allocated at once which caused a bit of a hang but after that all was smooth. Now, allocation is instant but now I get a hang of 1-2 seconds during usage of the textures (painting) which looks very bad to end-users. They think app is not fast enough which is not true. Did this work before? Yes It worked 2-3 weeks ago. Dont know the version number. Chrome version: 59.0.3071.115 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.6 Flash Version: I allocate a WebGL v2 context.

I can't reproduce this behavior on my MacBook Pro. I created several projects in both Chrome Stable and Canary and drew a few squiggles. Didn't see a hang like described.
Please provide either a captured trace from about:tracing with "Javascript and Rendering" selected, or a more reliable reproduction.
For what it's worth there is no delayed texture allocation going on.
Also please provide about:gpu information from an affected machine.

Unable to reproduce the issue on windows 7, Mac 10.12.6 air and Retina using chrome version 60.0.3112.78 and canary 62.0.3166.0. Not observed any hang while painting.Please find the attached screen cast for the same. markus.moenig@ Request you once try the issue on latest stable and update the thread if the issue still persists. I am sorry, I had this issue for several days, also after restart. Now starting from yesterday it is suddenly gone. I have no idea why. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please close for now.
