GpuProcessHostUIShim: The GPU process exited normally. Everything is okay.

Somehow you're on the software only rendering path. Have you tried updating your GPU drivers? You can grab the latest from http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx It looks like you have a GTX 970.

Ye I have my drivers up to date.

Components: Internals>GPU
+Internals>GPU folks since I can't seem to tell why you'd be in software only mode from that chrome://gpu log with the latest drivers.

To confirm, can you run DxDiag and attach the report here?

Looks like the whole GPU has been disabled. nikikrug7@: is it possible that you have "Use hardware acceleration when available" disabled in chrome://settings (Advanced)?

dalecurtis@: I do see --disable-accelerated-video-decode in the command line args, although perhaps that's normal when the entire GPU has been disabled.
@senorblanco: Yes that's normal when the GPU is disabled.
Also, if chrome://gpu doesn't include the value of that setting it probably should so we can quickly tell from bug reports...
reporter@, can you enable GPU acceleration? in chrome://settings, look for "Use hardware acceleration when available", Please report if it fix this problem.
no response from reporter@ for 1 month.
friendly ping again. Reporter@, please respond questions in c#9?
