I thought to add this information to that bug but it seems in a completely different domain. Bug 746342 is about visual experience and design choice This Bug 747682 is about functionality loss with a trivial forgotten event hook to reveal the scrollbar on hovering. Fixing this bug will not affect Bug 746342 since that one may be "wontfix"

The scrollbar appears if (1) you hover over the top-right corner of the div (verified on 61.0.3159.8) or (2) you scroll via mousewheel (if your mouse has one). For (1), there is a ~1 second delay that we are reducing. This issue will also be improved by the solution to 746342 since the scrollbar will appear in more situations for mouse users to drag it. |
