Google news app having issue

Issue description

Device name: Redmi note 3

From "Settings > About Chrome"
Application version:58.0.302983
Operating system:6.0.1

URLs (if applicable): Google news app

Steps to reproduce:
(1) open the app. Scroll twice or more towards right in HEADLINES
(2) try to scroll from bottom to up just below MY LOCATIONS
(3)

Expected result: screen should scroll down


Actual result: screen flickers with first news article in HEADLINES




 
Try clearing the "App Data/Cache" in settings from your mobile phone.

What version of WebView are you using?
If you uninstall WebView updates, does the issue still persist?
Settings -> Apps -> Android System WebView -> [triple dot menu] -> Uninstall updates

Unable to reproduce the issue in Android. Did not observe any screen flickering in news article headlines.

Steps Followed
1.Open the Google news app and scroll from bottom to up.

Webview versions tested
61.0.3163.98

OS
Android 6.0.1, 

Android Devices
Redmi Note 3 Build/MMB29M

@hkbmsce : Could you please let us know if we missed any steps from our end and if possible please respond to comment#5 that would help us to triage the issue further.

I think now you can ignore the issue as latest version of Google News app
does not have the issue I reported.
