Paste not working when interchanging Ctrl and Alt keys

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 9460.73.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.134 Safari/537.36
Platform: 9460.73.0 (Official Build) stable-channel chell

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Chrome > Settings
2. Keyboard
3. Replace Ctrl key for Alt and viceversa

What is the expected behavior?
Alt + C will copy content
Alt + V will paste content

What went wrong?
Alt + V does not paste content (but right click > paste does and Alt + C copies context)

Did this work before? Yes it started failing beginning of the week

Chrome version: 59.0.3071.134  Channel: stable
OS Version: 9460.73.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0

I was not able to reproduce this in M60 stable.
elenacuevas@ could you please try updating to latest stable channel and see if the same behavior occurs.
