Actionable interstitials for content-filter related SSL errors |
||
Issue descriptionOne reason a user can encounter an SSL error is because of a misconfigured antivirus, firewall, or proxy on their network or their machine. These man-in-the-middle software rely on users to install a root certificate on their machine so that the software can intercept and rewrite the SSL connection. If the user doesn't install this certificate correctly or the certificate has expired, they will encounter SSL errors on every page they visit.
