Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Copy the data url in this paste: https://pastebin.com/VVPcMr8R 2. Open it in Chrome 3. Type "da" into Chrome's URL bar and watch the UI crawl to a halt while Chrome tries to re-render the data url with every new keystroke What is the expected behavior? Chrome either doesn't display data URLs at all or filters out those that are excessively long. Cutting long data URLs off at some point would work too, I guess What went wrong? Chrome doesn't limit data URL lengths in the part of the URL bar that displays suggestions while typing. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 59.0.3071.115 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.5 Flash Version: According to pastebin, the URL alone is 32 KB. Don't ask why I had that URL in my history.
