Issue descriptionVersion: 61.0.3162.0 46d636d25e054da0b0d8270d525c84f39146ce30-refs/heads/master@{#488073} OS: Mac OS X(10.11.6,10.12.3) URL: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95464?visit_id=0-636361412532796642-2631118347&p=incognito&rd=1#incognito What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Launch chrome, navigate to above url (2) Resize the browser window and observe on page. Actual: Wired overlapping is seen while resizing the window. Expected: No such overlapping should seen. This is a non-regression issue, seen from 'M-45'(45.0.2405.0) Note: Issue is not reproducible in Windows and Linux OS

The whole browser window is being resized in a weird way, leading to this behavior. On Linux, the text at the top of the surrounding info indicating who is logged into Chrome and their name, also moves. This indicates a non-Blink cause of this bug.

[mac triage] -> ccameron? Also happens on google.com This came up in Issue 682825 too. The bisects go back a long way. If this ever worked, it's probably a change in macOS that caused it to regress. Probably ccameron or myself are the right people to fix this.

This regressed in M46 in exchange for ~2x battery life. But we still should be able to do this without hurting battery. Duping to an issue where sdy and I and a bunch of people have been discussing it. |
