Note: Contacted Xerox Level 2 support and the technician says this is a Chrome issue since the OS level printing dialog works. A similar PPD of the Xerox C405 works fine with Chrome. Attaching PPD in case someone would like to use it for comparison against the B405.

I'll take a look at the B405 PPD file and see what Chrome doesn't like about it. Just checking - did this ever work before?

Much appreciated! Undetermined if this has ever worked. We recently switched to Xerox in our higher ed environment and just received the report from a user.

I extracted the PPDs and tried them on Linux without problems, since it was convenient. I'll try installing them on a Mac to see what happens.

Since I don't have the actual printer, I enabled CUPS's web interface on Mac with: cupsctl WebInterface=yes Then I used the web interface to add dummy IPP printers to http://localhost, with the Xerox VersaLink B405 and Xerox VersaLink C405 PPDs. Next, I tried opening Chrome's print preview, and selecting the B405 and C405 printers. They both worked for me, so I guess I can't reproduce the problem.

I also tried installing the Xerox driver properly, and that produced the same results. This is on MacOS 10.12, BTW. I'll try to find a 10.10 machine and try it out there.
