Tested on Windows 7 & Windows 10 on Chrome 59.0.3071.115 and Canary 61.0.3161.0 and unable to reproduce the issue.

Could someone from Dev team please look into this issue.

Thanks.

Could you uninstall any new/recent software that would be causing this or could be audio related. Also, does chrome un-install-install helps in your case?

reporter@, can you please try one or more of these methods to see if it quickly fix your issue?
1. in task manager, kill all chrome related process, restart chrome
2. if you have any headphone plugged in, unplug it and/or plug again
3. does this issue only repro on chrome? does it repro with other browsers?
Please report back what did you see.
thanks
